Schütz, Bach and their choral legacy

Clothworkers Consort performs at the Meeting House at Ackworth School for the Ackworth Concert Society Series.

The programme includes Schűtz's 'Selig sind die Toten' SWV 392, and 'Herr, nun lässest du deinen Diener', SWV 432, Bach's motet for double choir 'Singet dem Herrn' BWV 225, Hugo Distler's motet 'Singet dem Herrn' op. 12, no. 1 and works by Samuel Wesley.
