The Clothworkers Consort of Leeds is joined by acclaimed mezzo-soprano Beth Mackay for a concert of American choral music, featuring Aaron Copland's masterpiece In the beginning, and Samuel Barber's nostalgic settings of James Stephens's melancholic Irish poetry parodies, Reincarnations. The programme is complemented by new arrangements of music by The Beach Boys, including 'God only knows', 'Good vibrations', and several other old favourites.
