The Clothworkers Consort of Leeds presents a concert of a cappella English choral music, including the world premiere of ‘Under the wide and starry skies’ – settings of prayers written by Robert Louis Stevenson in Western Samoa -  and The Edward Thomas Quartet - settings of texts by World War I poet Edward Thomas and his wife Helen - both by Bradford-based composer Philip Henderson.

The evening will also feature selections from Parry’s ‘Songs of Farewell’ and music by Byrd, Tomkins, Wesley and Tippett.
